KJP leader and former Union minister V Dhananjay Kumar on Wednesday had maintained that KJP was not averse to align with BJP to face coming Lok Sabha polls, scheduled next year.
BJP general secretary Raghunath Rao Malkapure said the party has not given a thought about aligning with anyone in the state. "The BJP never discussed this issue before or after Dhananjay Kumar made statement," he said on Thursday.
Malkapure said the party has issued gag order to it's cadre from issuing statement urging party leadership to take back former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa back to party fold. According to him, state unit president Prahlad Joshi has categorically told second line leaders not to issue any statement regarding re-entry of Yeddyurappa. "Disciplinary actions will be taken against those leaders who make statement on this," Malkapure said.
