We decided to re-induct Sriramulu after it was cleared by the party's parliamentary board and party chief Rajnath Singh. But they have still not cleared the proposal to merge the party. So we have decided to look into at a later stage,'' said state BJP president Prahalad Joshi at the meet-the-press programme held here on Tuesday.
Sriramulu, who had left BJP in November 2011 and formed BSR Congress, is being fielded for the Bellary Lok Sabha seat. Sriramulu, who was once a close aide of Swaraj wields influence over the Valmiki community and gives incremental value to BJP in the districts of Bellary, Gadag, Koppal and Chitradurga.
Asked about Sreeramulu's status of MLA, Joshi said Sriramulu has agreed to resign as legislator before he files his nomination papers for the Lok sabha.

He thinks politics is all about levelling wild allegations. A person who had corrupt ministers in his cabinet have no moral right to call another corrupt. He is merely making baseless allegations and we have already filed a case on this with the election commission''
BJP will announce the candidates for remaining three Lok Sabha constituencies of Hassan, Bellary and Bidar on Wednesday, Joshi said. It has released names of candidates for 25 of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka.
He however ruled out change of party candidate from Mysore Lok sabha constituency who is facing opposition from some party leaders. ' The candidate there already launched an aggressive campaign and there won't be any change,'' said Joshi. He said the leaders are pursuing former Mysore MP C H Vijayashankar to contest from Hassan and it will be known when the list is out.
He said the party is also not in favour of re-inducting former union minister V Dhananjaya Kumar as he had made some derogatory remarks against BJP leader L K Advani even after party agreed to merge KJP into its fold.
