INDORE: Congress party after using pictures of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on its official website to remind people about 2002 riots in Gujarat, is at it again. A day before polls, Congress has circulated another picture of Vajpayee on WhatsApp urging voters not to vote for Narendra Modi.

The picture shows Vajpayee with folded hands saying 'Modi is arrogant and proudy' and urging voters not to vote for him.

Crying foul over the use of Vajpayee's picture against BJP, city BJP president Kailash Sharma said it shows ideological bankruptcy of Congress. After judging public outrage against it, Congress leaders are resorting to such unsavoury acts.

Downplaying the issue, Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja said party has nothing to do with it. However, he stressed Vajpayee wanted to remove Narendra Modi from the post of Gujarat CM after the 2002 riot. Modi is a dictator who will divide the country, he said.

After the end of campaign mobile application WhatsApp has turned into a battle ground before polling. Supporters of both the parties are sharing information, photographs and videos to make last minute effort to woo voters. Interestingly, all messages and pictures are based on Modi with the only difference being that BJP supporters are coming up with contents and photographs in support of Modi while Congress supporters are trying to portray Modi as communal and a dictator.
