Dera Sacha sauda send mobile hospital with 6 doctors to Kashmir

BATHINDA: To provide soothing touch to flood victims of Kashmir, the Sirsa (Haryana) based dera sacha sauda on Thursday sent relief material and food packets in 25 canters. The dera has also sent 600 units of blood to be used for patients in the valley and mini mobile hospital named as Farishta. Farishta is manned by a team of six doctors and 10 members of para medical staff.

Dera spokesperson Aditya Insan in a press release said "as per our survey team in J&K, 28 hospitals in the valley have been badly hit due to floods and there is dire need to health care services in Kashmir. Going by it the dera has sent team of doctors and the mobile hospital to provide instant medical facilities. Apart from it the relief material has also been sent. Our 170 volunteers are taking care of the victims in the valley.

Aditya said the dera is thinking of constructing homes for those people whose dwelling units have destroyed in floods and dera is also trying to repair or rebuild the religious places and the team will immediately start the relief operations upon its reaching on Friday. Earlier when calamity had struck Uttrakhand, the dera teams had sent the relief along with providing medical services, said dera' 45 member committee member Gurmel Singh Insan.
