Speaking at a conference of captains of industry at Mahatma Mandir here, she said that Gujarat has the inherent strength to rise to the occasion. Rather, she said that Gujarat has begun its contribution to the nationwide campaign to set up industries producing products with zero defect to provide jobs to local aspirants.
Patel claimed that the state has emerged as the country's first manufacturing hub and growth engine, thanks to its transparent, industries friendly policies, modern infrastructure and easily available human resources. Gujarat is already home to several plants set up by prominent industrial houses of Japan, China, Singapore and other nations, having established its global identity as an auto hub in the automobile sector.
She said that the success of the State Government's biennial flagship event Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor's Summit (VGGIS) has attracted investors from all over India and abroad. She gave details of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), Dholera Special Investment Region, Chemicals & Petrochemicals Industrial Region in this context.
Finance Minister Saurabh Patel spoke on Gujarat's huge potentials of industrial development to lend vibrancy.
