"Such dastardly attacks on northeast youth in Delhi and other places outside the region are most despicable and reprehensible," the chief minister tweeted.
Besides, such racial attacks prevent them from coming to the mainstream, Gogoi said.
He also called for stern action against such racial attacks.
Gogoi also demanded "enactment of a deterrent law to prevent such racial attacks on northeast youth in Delhi and other parts of the country."
Two attacks on youths from the northeast, were reported from Delhi and Bangalore during the last 48 hours.
