Despite sweltering weather in the afternoon, the night temperature across the state plummeted by one to four degree Celsius since yesterday, the report said.

Sriganganagar recorded the minimum temperature of 16.9 degree Celsius, while Udaipur recorded a minimum temperature of 16.5 degree Celsius and Jaipur 22 degree Celsius.

Western districts of Rajasthan including Jodhpur, Barmer, Bikaner, and Churu were still reeling under sultry weather conditions where maximum temperature varied between 37.4 degree Celsius and 39.6 degree Celsius.
