MYSURU: Minister V Srinivasa Prasad said dalit organizations which are demanding Congress high command to replace Siddaramaiah with a dalit chief minister Parmeshwara have no locus standi on the issue as all those organizations one or the other time worked against Congress.

"Why Congress high command should take cognizance of their demand for a dalit CM when Siddaramaiah is in the saddles," he said adding that he has no qualms on their demand. Srinivasa Prasad said he is not questioning the intention of these organizations, I only question the integrity of these organizations.

"When times comes the high command will take a decision, but at present no such a situation exists," he pointed out expressing his solidarity with Siddaramaiah. "What else can be done for a dalit by the Congress"?, he asked and said important portfolios are with dalits, Parmeshwara who was defeated has been continued in the KPCC chief's post, made a MLC and if situation warrants he will be given a minister's post," he said denying that Congress has neglected dalits.
