NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party's founding members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav have resigned from party's national executive after the talks of reconciliation failed, according to senior leader Ashish Khetan.

Party has confirmed that they will not hold any further talks with the two leaders.

"Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan are engaging in double speak," Khetan told media here today.

Reacting to the development, Yogendra Yadav tweeted that party's claims were ridiculous. "What is being passed off as "resignation letter" is a note for internal negotiations. We said we will resign if 5 conditions were met," Yadav tweeted.

Earlier, sources said Yadav and Bhushan made it clear that there was no valid ground for them to step down from the 21 member national executive and the rival camp should instead address the issues raised by them.

Last ditch efforts by party Lokpal Admiral Ramdas to push for reconciliation failed to make any headway with both camps sticking to their stands.
