Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh, interacting with reporters on Monday, said the rally, which is to be attended by lakhs of farmers from across the country, will be addressed by party president Sonia Gandhi and others.
He mentioned Rahul Gandhi's name only when the mediapersons asked him when the Congress vice president will return from leave.
"Rahul Gandhi ji will also address the rally," he said.
The 44-year-old Congress vice president has been on a "leave of absence" since the budget session of Parliament began on February 23.
