MANGALORE: Former Union minister B Janardhan Poojari has likened Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi to Hitler.
"There is no democracy in Gujarath. The state is under the dictatorship of Modi. He make all ministers and officials work according to his diktat. Modi claims that Gujarath is a developed state. It is Bihar, which is the richest state in the nation and it has been ranked fifth richest state in the world," Poojari told TOI.
He said that Modi was indirectly responsible for the Gujarat riots. "It is ridiculous to hear the claims of Modi that BJP is a clean party, even when he was flanked by deputy chief minister R Ashok, who is facing corruption charges and BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar, who is involved in loan scam," Poojari ridiculed.
Quoting CAG report, Poojari alleged that Modi has incurred huge loss of Rs 580 crore to Gujarath government exchequer.
