CHADALAPURA: (Chikkaballapur): AAP chief and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday escalated his attack on Union oil minister and Chikkaballapur MP M Veerappa Moily, alleging that he was hand-in-glove with business magnates Ambanis.

Kejriwal said the Ambanis were dictating the price of gas and other petroleum products. "Gas prices will shoot up from April as a result of which even petrol prices will also go up. Once that happens, naturally the cost of other commodities will also spike. The cost of living will be higher in future," he said during his road show in this small town about 45km from Bangalore. Chikkaballapur is represented by Moily.

Kejriwal earlier addressed a rally in Yelahanka.

Not a storm

Chadalapura, a tiny hamlet on the Bangalore-Hyderabad National Highway, was all agog when Arvind Kerjiwal rolled out his roadshow. Party volunteers offered him a traditional Mysore Peta (turban).

The long convoy of vehicles accompanying Kejriwal, however, failed to arouse any interest. At Town Hall Circle where Kejriwal addressed a public meeting from an open jeep, not more than 50 persons gathered to listen.
